In this thoroughly explained, detailed flash lesson, I will show you how to draw cloud using some special flash tips and tricks. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to convert any object into a Movie Clip Symbol, how to apply flash filters on it and much much more! Let's start!

Step 1

Create a new flash document, press Ctrl+J on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the options from the picture below!

Step 2

Take the Oval Tool (O), under Fill Color choose white, Stroke Color must be switched off, and draw four ellipse which will represent your "cloud". Look at the picture below!

Step 3

Select the "cloud", press Ctrl+C on the keyboard (copy), insert a new layer (layer2) and using drag and drop technique move it beneath the first layer.

Step 4

Click on the first frame of layer2 and press Ctrl+Shift+V on the keyborad (Paste in Place).

Step 5

Using arrows key on the keyboard move the cloud from layer2 a little down and right. Look at the picture below!

Step 6

Select the "cloud" from layer2, press Ctrl+C on the keyboard (copy), insert a new layer (layer3) and using drag and drop technique, move it beneath the layer2.

Step 7

Click on the first frame of layer3, and press Ctrl+Shift+V (Paste in Place).

Step 8

While your "cloud" is still selected, under Fill color choose black.

Step 9

Using arrows key on the keyboard move that "cloud" a little down and right.

Step 10

After that, while your "cloud" is still selected, press F8 on the keyboard (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip. Look at the picture below!

Step 11

After that open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3), click on Filters > Add Filters > Drop Shadow, and set the options from the picture below!

Step 12

Then, go back on the Properties and under color choose alpha and set it to 65%.
